Beverly, notice I just said *happy* -- I'd say my French was slipping but that would imply I had any to slip. I'm guessing thats a Cajun style French anyway, which makes it American French, right?
When I was in high school I was of the first class to be allowed to choose between Latin and French for the required language. Of course I chose the romantic one, the one I dreamed of speaking to some handsome artist on the Champs....whatever.
Now this was Middle Tennessee and our accents absolutely ruined the language. I can still hear us reciting *Open the window* and *sit down please* in Frenchish words, but southern accented beyond recognition. When we were finally made to listen to French tapes for a *test* we all failed miserably as what we heard was truly a foreign language.
Karen, don't you love it when commenters run off into story land when we should be helping you blow out candles? Hope yours was fun beyond measure.
Let's see. It is actually the ____ anniversary of your 29th birthday! Makes the numbers ever so nice that way! Hope you had a GREAT! one and that Nancy Drew won out. She was my favorite as a kid although I thought of her as a college girl and not as young as the movie portrayal.

A blue moon in June. A good month for weddings. Have a happy one.
I don't know French. Sorry! And, so, very happy belated birthday wishes to you. The rest of the comment I left before stands on merit, I think. ;-)
